I was running late. I came in from putting the bird seed out when I saw the aftermath of an overnight raid. The raccoon had brought down two birdhouses.
What is undesirable to one may not be to another. Still on the topic of neighbors, but this time it’s not for the birds (sorry I couldn’t resist).
I have three sets of new neighbors. The big family seems very happy. The parents are always busy, but I have to say the kids are pretty demanding. Across the way in the modern A-frame is a couple. They are still moving in, so I don’t know them yet. Then in the fairly large custom home is a family who clearly felt the need to immediately remodel. You do know I am talking about birds?
What would you select if you were told you could have an endless supply of something? Spoiler Alert: For our discussion money is not an option. So, what would you select?
Listening to Canadian Geese zero in on the small pond behind our neighborhood, while the rain tapped at the window, my mind wandered to consider all the small ponds and creeks in the area where I live. They are a blessing.
So often we hear a little voice in our head telling us something is wrong. It may tell us to do something very specific. We may ignore it, but that isn’t such a good idea.
