The calendar reads April and the season officially changed to Spring back in March. I have flowers blooming and trees budding in my yard, and still this spring thing doesn’t feel right. I check the weather on my phone and see little snowflakes.
As we move through the season of Lent we are bombarded with waves of emotions, feelings of anticipation, moments of introspection, and glimpses of joy. Lent and the week between Palm Sunday and Easter can be draining.
As March 20th drew closer you would think everyone would be jumping for joy. Spring! Yay! But instead we got the unexpected, a wintery mix of weather. Yes, March can be unpredictable, and we all know it’s not summer yet, but we expected a spring day.
