I want to take a moment to share a very genuine and loving gesture I recently received from my friends and neighbors at Herndon First Baptist Church.
They sent me a card letting me know they were praying for me by name. I've met many of the church leaders and congregants and I truly appreciate being kept in your prayers - prayers for wisdom as I guide the town and make difficult policy decisions, prayers for effective communication to explain town positions and to reach all parts of the community, prayers to keep love and patience in my heart for every single person in our community. Thank you for letting me know I have you collectively at by back, strengthening me and helping me push forward each day!
