The Closet’s Annual Fashion Show will be Saturday, September 5, 2026. Tickets are $10 and are available now at The Closet. Your ticket includes early-access shopping to The Closet’s newest winter merchandise, before the Fashion Show begins that evening. We also need volunteer models for this event; please visit the store and talk to a manager if you are interested. Models pick their own outfits; some practice sessions are required.
Thank you for your support through donations, shopping, and volunteering, which is what makes these financial gifts possible.
We have five assigned dates to volunteer at The Closet through the end of the year: Friday, September 11; Thursday, October 1; Wednesday, October 28; Thursday, November 19; and Wednesday, December 16. Shifts are usually two or three hours; a variety of tasks are available, from restocking the sales floor to attaching price tags to merchandise. Let Laura know if you’d like to help.
Please plan to volunteer at The Closet sometime this quarter. The Closet may provide exactly what you are looking for – a friendly atmosphere, work that matters, and a way to serve the community.
Volunteer shifts last two or three hours, depending on your schedule. Tasks vary depending on what’s needed and your stamina. If you need to sit, you can tag clothing or create price tags. If you can walk around the store, there’s merchandise to display. If you can’t make it on an assigned day, email store manager Tempestt Harmon at theclosetinc@verizon.net (note “I want to volunteer” in the subject line) and let her know which date works. There is always something to do!
