You are sitting at a traffic light waiting to turn right. The person in the car in front of you misses several, “perfectly fine,” opportunities to do the same. Then it happens.
I don’t know about you, but it’s all I can do to remember to send cards and notes related to specific events. I’ve always admired people who had that knack for reaching out in such thoughtful ways.
Is it any wonder people seem somewhat despondent? Faces appear tired and sad. With all that is going on in the world it’s so easy to fall prey to anxiety and depression.
I am gradually learning to go to God in all things. It’s been hard at times to think He wants to hear about the small stuff when He obviously has plenty to do.
I agreed to have my fluffy four-legged grandson, Theo, spend the weekend. I agreed to have my two-year-old grand-daughter, Molly, spend most of the day Saturday.
A friend had arrived late and said, “I missed my exit!” She shook her head and added that with all the road construction, and cars entering the on ramps, she basically drove past her exit.
