January 2022 Update

Sean Roberds | Jan 26, 2022

Thank you for your patience and commitment to our church during the latest spike in Covid19 cases. With so many positive cases in and around our church it felt necessary to pause in-person worship for a few weeks to give us a chance to reset. We are working on getting a few more people trained to run the sound system and our livestream. Having a few more people knowing how to work each system will give us a bit more flexibility when people need to be away or feel the need to stay home. If you would like to join the team, please let me know.

This Sunday we will remain virtual for worship and Bible study. Weather permitting, we will livestream from the sanctuary. This means worship will be available on YouTube and Facebook. No Zoom worship this time. Our Bible study will be on Zoom starting about 15 minutes after worship.

After this Sunday we will take a step-by-step approach to regathering for in-person worship. The deacons and I will consider all the information and decide when to move to the next step. We have not made a decision for February 6th at this time. We should be able to make that decision early next week.

The next step will be to allow a limited number of people to attend in-person and for us to reserve those spots for people who have trouble watching online. After that we will gradually increase the number as it seems fitting.

God is still doing wonderful things through our church. Thank you for your commitment to being the presence of Christ and for sharing God’s love in new and amazing ways.
