COVID-19 UPDATE 12-15-2020

Sean Roberds | Dec 15, 2020

Sunday, the Deacons and I decided we would pause in-person worship until the middle of February. With the increase of COVID-19 cases and Governor Northam’s request, we felt this was the right decision for our church and partner congregations. We will continue to offer online worship, Bible Study and our Wednesday Night Prayer Gathering. The Deacons will discuss worship options again during the February Deacons meeting.

We know that having the option to Worship in the sanctuary and with our brothers and sisters in Christ the past few months was helpful for many of our people.  We also believe that our ability to pause in- person worship is a sign that we trust God will see our church through.  Our ability to not be anxious during this time is a powerful witness to our community. As the Apostle Paul reminds us in Thessalonians, “the one who called you will be faithful.”   God has been faithful to us indeed.

May The Lord bless you and keep you.
