Congratulations Ellen Wilson

At the March 29 annual meeting of the MidAtlantic Cooperative Baptist Fellowship, our own Ellen Wilson was elected to a three-year term on the group's Coordinating Council.
The council exercises governance of MACBF; develops policies and mission strategies as needed; and collaborates with national and global CBF entities. Members include pastors, chaplains, lay leaders like Ellen, seminarians and professors.
Ellen has been a member of First Baptist for 15 years and has served two terms on our Deacon Board, including a stint as chairman. Her commitment, faithfulness and leadership will greatly benefit MACBF, and we are excited about her impact on the greater CBF community.
The Cooperative Baptist Fellowship is a fellowship of Baptist churches and individual Baptists who share a passion for the Great Commission and a commitment to Baptist principles of faith and practice. The Mid-Atlantic region includes Delaware, the District of Columbia, Maryland, Northern Virginia and West Virginia.
