Heading to the Finish line!

We are in the back stretch heading towards the finish line!
(Philippians 3:13-14)
On March 9th we held our 5th Town Hall Focus meeting; 21 people gathered to discuss our goals as a church. We began by harkening back to what we feel we are called to do. Based on our calling, we answered the question: How is it that we put this calling into action?
FBCH is Called
To Share God’s Love, To Serve Others, To Teach the Faith.
How do we do this in practical, but general, terms?
Once again, each of the four groups came up with the same basic answers.
We Share God’s Love by treating people well and living out God’s word through our actions in the community.
We Serve Others by caring for their needs and creating outreach opportunities to meet those needs in the community.
We Teach the Faith by offering Worship Services and a variety of Bible Studies for members and the community.
Our 6th and final Town Hall will be held on April 13, after church. This time we will meet in the Sanctuary. Pastor David will be putting together a summary and statement concluding our re-visioning process.
